Welcome to The Bush School! We are thrilled to welcome you to our bright, caring, and heart-centered Blazer family. Bush students share many traits: They’re smart, inclusive, creative, and kind.

  • Lower and Middle School Families of Color Welcome Reception - Monday, March 25, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

    Admitted Lower and Middle School students and parents/guardians who identify as people of color are invited to attend an in-person welcome reception to connect with members of the Bush community. Join Head of School Percy L. Abram, Lower School Director Aliya Virani, faculty, students, and parents/guardians at this celebratory event. This event is intended as an affinity space for families that share identity layers and experiences. Light refreshments will be served. Take-home containers and dates will be available for families observing Ramadan to break their fast in the evening.

  • Lower School Admitted Parent/Guardian Reception - Tuesday, March 26, 9:15-10:45 a.m.

    Parents/Guardians of admitted students are invited to join members of the Lower School community for an in-person welcome reception at The Bush School. Meet Head of School Percy L. Abram, Lower School Director Aliya Virani, Lower School faculty, students, and parents/guardians, and connect with other newly admitted parents/guardians. There will also be an opportunity to tour Lower School classes in action. This is a fun event to build community and learn more about Bush Lower School! Light refreshments will be served. Take-home containers and dates will be available for families observing Ramadan to break their fast in the evening.

  • Middle School Admitted Student Visit - Tuesday, March 26, 12:00-2:00 p.m.

    Students newly admitted to the Bush Sixth Grade Class of 2031 are invited to join us for an in-person visit to experience life as a Bush student. Visiting students will meet current students, join Bush classes, and learn what it is like to be a Blazer. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Middle School!

  • Middle School Admitted Families Reception - Wednesday, March 27, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

    Newly admitted students and families are invited to join members of the Middle School community for an in-person welcome reception at The Bush School. Meet Incoming Middle School Director Robert Blackwell, Middle School faculty, students, and parents/guardians, and connect with other newly admitted students and families. This is a fun opportunity to build community and learn more about Bush Middle School! This event is for students and families. 

    The event will begin with tours of learning and community spaces of Bush Upper School from 5:00-5:30 p.m. for families to explore the full scope of the Sixth through Twelfth Grade experience at Bush. The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Bush Middle School.

    Dinner and dessert will be served. Take-home containers and dates will be available for families observing Ramadan to break their fast in the evening.


  • Lower School Virtual Chat - Wednesday, March 27, 12:10-12:40 p.m.

    Join Head of School Percy L. Abram, Lower School Director Aliya Virani, members of the admissions team, and Lower School faculty and staff for a lunchtime chat on Tuesday! This is an opportunity for parents/guardians of newly admitted students to ask questions in a casual virtual setting.

  • Middle School Virtual Lunchtime Chat - Monday, March 25, 12:10-12:40 p.m.

    Join Head of School Percy L. Abram, Interim Middle School Director Matt Lai, members of the admissions team, and Middle School faculty and staff for a lunchtime chat on Monday! This is an opportunity for parents/guardians of newly admitted students to ask questions in a casual virtual setting.
