Alumnae/i
Charge to the Alumnae/i Council
The school seeks a dynamic, productive partnership with its alumnae/i, and the Alumnae/i Council works with the faculty, staff and administration of the school and with the Board of Trustees to sustain that partnership. The Council has been established to support the alumnae/i of the school and the educational program and operations of the school, and to represent the voice of alumnae/i in the life of the school.
The Alumnae/i Council has specific responsibility for:
- Helping to develop and carry out events and activities that serve the alumnae/i of the school;
- Helping to preserve the personal relationships, memories, and traditions connecting alumnae/i with the school;
- Serving as a key channel of communication for alumnae/i to the Board of Trustees and to the school administration regarding the policies, programs, and operations of the school;
- Providing alumnae/i with information about the school: its philosophy, programs, methods, and operations;
- Supporting the faculty and staff of the school in their efforts to create the best possible educational environment for students;
- Helping to communicate to alumnae/i the actions and activities of the Council; Supporting the fund raising efforts of the school.
Members of the Council participate in one of the following Council committees:
- Events
- Experiential Programs
- Communications
