"The PA - Why We Are Here "
The Bush School Parent Association is an organization for and of all parents and guardians of students enrolled in the school. The PA exists to promote a spirit of involvement and community between the school and its families by providing an opportunity to share and explore ideas and to support school events and activities. The PA serves as a key channel of communication from parents to the school, and from the school to the parents. The PA is made up entirely of parent volunteers.
What We Do
The PA is responsible for the following functions at The Bush School
Classroom Room Representatives at the Lower, Middle and Upper School Divisions - This group of parent volunteers is essential to the functioning of our school, helping classroom teachers and parents organize events ranging from field trips, dances, parent potlucks to graduation ceremonies. Room reps meet monthly.
Parent Association Meetings for Parents – A series of monthly meetings throughout the school year designed to inform parents about important issues to the school – ranging from financial aid and student evaluations/grades to Bush’s experiential education programs.
