Experiential Programs
We believe students learn most effectively through active engagement with ideas.
Therefore, we have created programs of unique, stimulating educational experiences that are characterized by involved, active learning. Lower School students regularly enjoy local field trips, and our fifth grade initiates our grade-level retreat program. The Middle and Upper Schools offer experientially based activities that are scheduled into the school week and often take place off-campus. In spring, both divisions engage students in weeklong experiential activities. Both divisions offer extensive wilderness and international travel study programs.
