Upper School
Information for College Admission Officers
Congruent with The Bush School educational philosophy, we are thrilled that you have decided to experience our unique community through a visit to campus this fall. It is our hope that by meeting our students in their ‘natural habitat,’ you will be able to envision the impact, contributions, and spark they will bring to your unique college campus. We also hope that you have fun – not only during your visit to Bush but in your time spent exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
To schedule a visit to The Bush School, please contact our registrar, Christine Eccleston, via email, christine.eccleston@bush.edu, or phone, 206.326.7732.
Your meeting will take place in the College Counseling Center on the 3rd floor of Gracemont – the historic brick building located next to Wissner Hall on the Upper Campus. Please enter through the front door of Gracemont when you arrive and check in at the Upper School office on your left for guidance upstairs to the College Counseling Center.
As a former admissions officer, I understand the frustration of getting lost as you navigate from school to school in uncharted territory! That being said, please note that the Bush Upper Campus is located on the north side of Lake Washington Boulevard and NOT at the 3400 East Harrison Street entrance. The Upper Campus driveway opens onto Lake Washington Boulevard at the intersection with 36th Avenue East by the crosswalk towards the Lower Campus. There is dedicated parking denoted with signage for college representatives in the circular driveway in front of Gracemont.
For exact directions to the Bush School Upper Campus, please use the following address in all of your googlemaps/neverlost/mapquest/gps searches: 408 Lake Washington Blvd E, Seattle, WA 98112.
Again, we cannot wait to welcome you to The Bush School this fall. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any questions.
Safe Travels!
