Upper School

Learning Coordinators

Our goal is to help students become independent, successful learners. The Upper School Learning Coordinators assist students in improving their academic success through study skills development, access to available resources and development of self-advocacy skills.

Upper School Learning Coordinators work with students, parents and faculty to help students develop student skills. Some of their direct work includes:

  • Study skills instruction in Ninth Grade classes
  • Resources available on-line and through our office
  • Individual work with students who self-identify as needing improved study skills.
  • Consultation with faculty and parents on strategies and resources.
  • Maintenance of a list of qualified and recommended tutors and other outside professionals who are available to work with our students.
  • Special needs accommodations
