Where Can I Volunteer?

Communications Volunteer Opportunities

We know you are out there! Reaching out to all parents with the inner journalist, photographer, or copy-editor in you. We have 10 volunteer jobs to fill!

  • Photographers

    Posted: September 6, 2006

Parent volunteers are welcomed as photographers at any school event, including Convocation, field trips, classroom activities, major excursions such as the Lower School Millersylvania weekend, lunch in the Commons, etc. Digital photography is preferred, but we can be flexible! The school has a limited number of cameras available to borrow.

  • Writers for The Bulletin

If you love to write, this is a wonderful way to work in and support the school. The monthly Bush Bulletin (parent publication) needs articles on all sorts of school-related activities, programs, and people. Articles can be short or long, and you can write on a regular basis or intermittently, as your schedule permits.

  • Eyes and Ears

    Posted: September 6, 2006

The school needs “eyes and ears” in the community, alerting the Communications Office to upcoming events, emerging issues, and interesting school-related situations of all kinds. If you are an “ear to the ground” sort of person, this is a great way for you to help the school.
