Where Can I Volunteer?

Development Volunteer Opportunities

Building connections with parents, alumnae/i, and new families, as well as the resources to make a Bush education possible, the Development Office depends on approximately 100 volunteers to help pave the way for our school's future!

  • Annual Fund

    Posted: September 6, 2006

The Bush School Annual Fund raises almost three quarters of a million dollars for the operating budget. We need energetic extroverts to help us reach this goal! Volunteers meet in late spring and August. They are assigned a list of current parents, usually in their children's classes to solicit donations by phone and letter. There are also volunteer leadership positions who oversee grade-level volunteers. These are critical volunteer positions for the school's development programs.

The Bush School is currently involved in a $34 million campaign to build a new lower campus, athletics facilities, parking garage and increase endowment. Outgoing volunteers are needed to solicit current families, alumnae/i, past parents, and friends of the school for campaign gifts. Volunteers are also needed to help organize campaign events. If you are fearless in asking for money or have a creative mind, this is the volunteer opportunity for you!
