Giving that sparks COLLABORATION

Read how giving can spark collaboration with a story from Jo Ito, Athletic Director.
Jo Ito
Athletic Director

"I am endlessly grateful to the Athletics Booster Club volunteers for their enthusiasm, dedication, attention to detail, and willingness to collaborate with our coaches, athletes, and staff. Together we have built positive energy around the Blazers athletic program, building a stronger athletic culture at Bush for generations to come. The hard work of the parent volunteers in the Athletics Booster Club has had a significant impact on the growth in  nthusiasm, pride, and school spirit at Bush. We have created incredible momentum by putting initiatives into action including the fall, winter, and spring Blazer Bash.

These special K-12 events bring together the school community, and allow us to celebrate Blazer athletes. The year-end athletic celebrations have also been an important part of this momentum, building a greater sense of the contributions and accomplishments of student athletes and coaches. Receiving support from the Athletics Booster Club means a lot to our athletes, coaches, the school community as a whole, and of course, me personally. I can’t wait to start planning the next big event with our amazing volunteers.

On behalf of our athletes, thank you to the Athletics Booster Club for always cheering us on. Go Blazers!"
