Sign-up! NOLS Wilderness First Aid (WFA) with CPR – August 15-17

We are pleased to offer the NOLS Wilderness First Aid (WFA) with CPR again this summer from August 15-17

Prepare for the unexpected with this engaging, hands-on introduction to wilderness medicine, taught over two or two and a half days. If you like to take short trips relatively close to medical resources, work at wilderness camps, enjoy weekend family outdoor activities, or recreate outdoors, this course is for you.

There are still spots for Bush faculty and staff, and this course is open to the public and will likely fill up with limited course offerings in Seattle this summer so we recommend you register as soon as possible in order to ensure you get a spot.

Bush Faculty & Staff Code: WFAStaff22  (covers full cost)

This course is important for faculty and staff who plan to take students off campus to locations where emergency medical response times may be prolonged. The course has a maximum enrollment of 30, so please complete the registration as soon as possible. There are limited WFA courses in Seattle this summer so sign-up as soon as possible.

The school will pay the course fee for 20222-2023 faculty and staff, and have provided a code to use at registration for Bush faculty and staff.  Since we are offering the course on campus, the school will not pay travel expenses if individuals take the course at another time.

WFA certification is good for two years. If you are WFA certified, you do not need to take the First Aid/CPR offered by the school each fall.

Please contact summer@bush.edu if you have any questions.
