Home Game Opener vs Uprep

Pam Carter
Blazers Soccer Opener
It was the girls’ soccer home opener at Starfire against the highly ranked University Prep Pumas. The undermanned Blazers with only 12 eligible players of 21 on the roster fell to UP 5-0.
Goalie Katie ’14 had at least three BIG SAVES in the face of strong Puma threats. UP had 13 shots on goal, while the Blazers had 4.
Coach Dumpit was complimentary of the players and stated: “There is much to say with that game. The 2012 Bush team is built on character, unity, and the team has a very strong core. When everyone is eligible, the league will have something to look out for.”
The next game is Tuesday, September 11, at Starfire at 3:15 vs. league-rival Northwest.
