  Bio

  Adam leads the K-12 admissions, retention and financial aid programs at Bush. He is here to answer any questions about enrollment, financial aid, and tuition. He works closely with the Bush Senior Leadership Team to live our school mission in action through all aspects of the admissions and enrollment process. 
  
  

  Adam joined Bush in July 2019, and has worked in admissions in several independent schools including his alma mater, St. George’s School in Newport, Rhode Island. He currently co-chairs the Equity & Access Committee of the Puget Sound Independent Schools consortium and recently joined The Enrollment Management Association’s Enrollment Management Leadership Council. Prior to working at Bush, Adam was the Associate Director of Middle and Upper School Admissions at The Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Adam received his bachelor’s degree from Colby College, majoring in history with a minor in education, where he also played for the men’s basketball team.
  
  

  In his free time, Adam enjoys skateboarding, playing basketball and exploring Seattle. Adam supports students at Bush by advising affinity groups in multiple divisions, and he enjoys being fully involved in the life of the K-12 community. He is excited to share more with you about our school community and the ways in which students and families are valued, seen, and heard.

  Caitlin Cataldo 

  Associate Director of Admissions and Financial Aid

  Bio

  Caitlin leads the Upper School admissions process, working closely with families applying to Ninth through Twelfth Grade. Feel free to contact her with any questions that may arise throughout the admissions process. 

  
  

  Caitlin joined The Bush School in July 2023. Prior to Bush, Caitlin worked as a member of the admissions office at Pacific Ridge School in Carlsbad, CA and Canterbury School in New Milford, CT. Having held roles of coach, advisor, and head dorm parent, in addition to her own experience as a boarding school student, Caitlin is passionate about the opportunities independent education can provide young people. Caitlin started her career working for an educational non-profit organization in Boston, MA. Caitlin received her bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Connecticut College where she also played on the women’s lacrosse team. 

  
  

  Caitlin is new to Seattle and enjoys exploring the city, coaching lacrosse, and finding different hiking trails to walk with her Great Pyrenees, Teddy.

  Colleen Carroll

  Bio

  Colleen leads the Lower and Middle School admissions process, working closely with families applying to Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Se habla español. No dude en contactarse por teléfono o correo electrónico con preguntas en cualquier paso del proceso de admisiones.
  
  

  Colleen joined The Bush School in December 2018, as a long-term substitute and classroom assistant in the Lower School, and joined the admissions office in August 2019 as the Admissions and Communications Coordinator. In July 2022, she transitioned into her current role as Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. She previously served as Assistant to the Head of School and Co-Director of Admissions at Hyla Middle School on Bainbridge Island, where she also spent three years as a librarian and Spanish teacher. Colleen received her bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College, majoring in geography and American studies with a minor in studio art. She has spent time living in Chile and Nicaragua and has led international student trips to Nicaragua and Spain.
  
  

  In her free time, Colleen enjoys getting into the mountains for hiking or skiing, baking and cooking in her small kitchen, gardening, and cheering on all Seattle sports teams.

  Olivia Simonson

  Bio

  Olivia works closely with parent/guardian volunteers and student ambassadors to coordinate K-12 admissions events throughout the year.

  
  

  Olivia joined The Bush School in August 2023. Previously, she worked in the Admissions Office at St. Olaf College and was a Lead Instructor at Camp Galileo on the Bush campus in Summer 2022. Olivia received her bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College, majoring in Classics and Gender & Sexuality Studies with a concentration in Linguistics. She participated in a semester-long study abroad program at Oxford University and a month-long program throughout Greece.

   

  In her free time, Olivia enjoys playing pickleball, building LEGO, exploring new restaurants in Seattle, and seeing live music.
