Join Us For Admissions Events!

We are excited to connect with you and share more about what makes Bush special for students and families from Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. We offer a variety of in-person and virtual events during the admissions season to help your family learn about academics, the arts, athletics, experiential learning, and the student and family experience at Bush. 

Fall 2024 event information coming soon. Please see below for an example of our admissions events from the 2023-2024 application cycle.

Registration for all events will open in September via Ravenna. Please note: for certain events, the minimum application status of “started” or “applied” is required.

  • Open Houses

    Each fall, The Bush School welcomes prospective students and families to campus for divisional Open Houses. Join us to experience first-hand what a Bush education offers while connecting with Bush faculty and staff, current students, and admissions ambassadors. 

    2024 Open Houses are for applicants and their families at all grade levels but registration is required for division-specific dates. Registration for Open Houses will be available in September, 2024. 

    Lower School: Saturday, November 16, 2024

    Middle School: Saturday, October 19, 2024

    Upper School: Sunday, November 17, 2024
  • Divisional Information Session

    Connect with the Bush admissions team, divisional faculty and staff, and current Bush parents/guardians via Zoom to hear more about academics, community, and the Bush approach to experiential education. These virtual events are intended for parents/guardians only. 
  • Student Visit (Kindergarten, Sixth Grade, Ninth Grade)

    All applicants to Bush’s divisional entry points (Kindergarten, Sixth, and Ninth Grades) are required to attend a student visit. Visits take place on campus during the fall and winter. Registration and additional visit details available on Ravenna beginning September 2024. 

    Please note, you must first submit the Bush preliminary application and pay the $70 application fee before registering for a student visit. For families applying for financial aid, the application fee waiver code is PSIS2024.
  • Affinity Events

    Wondering if the Bush community is right for you and your family? Hear from Bush leadership, faculty, and current families about their lived experiences at The Bush School and the school's ongoing work to become an inclusive institution committed to equity and justice. These events are affinity spaces intended for applicant families who share layers of identity as part of the LGBTQIA+ community and/or people of color. 

    We ask that applicants and families who do not share these layers of identity attend our other events to learn about the Bush community and student experience.

  • Virtual Lower School Activity Days (K-5 only)

    Experience Lower School learning in action with Bush specialist teachers in art, music, library, physical education, technology, and Spanish through these fun and interactive virtual activities.

    Specialist classes are integrated into the school day for all Lower School students and offer additional opportunities for exploration, play, and creativity.
