Bush Golfers Top Bainbridge

Alec Osenbach
The Bush golf team travelled to Meadowmeer Golf Course on Bainbridge Island and came away with a win against a solid Bainbridge squad. The Blazers were paced by sophomore Jackson L., who medaled for the second straight match.
Jackson made two birdies on the front nine en route to a 39, one stroke ahead of teammate Ian G. Sophomore Craig B. also played exceptionally well, carding a 43. The battle for the final scoring position on the Bush team was tight again, with freshman Lucas S. besting junior Cooper J. by a single stroke.

The win was the second straight for the young Blazers, who open the season 2-0 for the first time in recent memory. The team will gain a better understanding of the league heirarchy later this week as they face Seattle Academy twice in back-to-back matches.
