Overlake Tops Bush at Redmond Ridge

Alec Osenbach
Continuing their busy week of golf, the Blazers travelled to Redmond Ridge Wednesday to face Overlake. Hoping to improve on their two-stroke defeat last week, Bush navigated the hazard-laden course efficiently but again fell to the home team by just 4 strokes.

Jackson L., who has taken the overall win at all but one match this season, was again the medalist with an impressive 39. Craig B. followed Jackson with a 49, and Lucas S. and Henry H. added a 50 and a 53 respectively. The Bush team score of 191 was quite good given the treacherous nature of the course, but Overlake was able to take advantage of their home field advantage to score just a few strokes better.

Bush plays again on Friday at Jefferson Park, still looking for their first team victory, against Bainbridge Island.
