House Family Group Event on Tuesday, February 7

HOUSE VALENTINES SERVICE PROJECT - TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7
On Tuesday, February 7 from 10:10-11:00 a.m., we will be gathering back together in our K-12 Family Groups to make valentines together for a number of community partners including Mary’s Place, Teen Feed, Aegis Living, and Pike Market Food Bank. Below you will find some context on Family Groups, logistics, and additional information on the service project. All Bush faculty, staff, and students are in Family Groups and are asked to participate in this all-community event.

Which Family Group is your Student in?
Please communicate with your students ahead of time what group they are in and where they will be headed. Family Groups and assigned locations are listed here

What is a Family Group?
Family Groups are a smaller subsection of your House (remember Madrona, Sugar Pine, Giant Sequoia, Western Red Cedar, and Maple from Fall Festival?). Each House has nine Family Groups made up of approximately twenty K-12 students, faculty, and staff.  Your family group will stay the same each year as students travel from Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. The intention is that these house events are a fun way to get to know people outside of your division and celebrate our K-12ness. This is the first Family Group Event since February 2020, and will include icebreaker activities and a valentines service project.

Who are our Community Partners?
So glad you asked! This year we are making valentine’s for:
