K-12 Book Drive! Donate Your Gently Used Books and Pick Up a New Read at Fall Festival

At Bush, we believe in cultivating community and sparking curiosity through the joy of reading. This fall, we invite every K–12 family to come together for our school-wide Book Drive and Blazer Book Swap!

From Monday, September 15 through Thursday, September 18, families are encouraged to donate gently-used books (donation location to be announced) for children ages twelve and under. Your contributions will help create The Bush School’s Little Free Bookstore—a pop-up space transformed in the Community Room during Fall Festival.

On Friday, September 19, the bookstore will open for our entire K-12 community to browse and pick out free books to enjoy. It’s a wonderful way to pass along beloved stories, inspire new readers, and strengthen our shared love of learning.

Thanks to the generosity of Elliott Bay Book Company, even more great reads will be waiting for you.

Want to help set up or staff the bookstore? We’d love your support! Email LSFA@bush.edu to get involved.

Let’s share stories, celebrate reading, and build community one book at a time!
