Join Us! Lower School Ages & Stages: Conversations About Your Child’s Growth

One of our core values in the Lower School is nurturing the social and emotional growth of every child. Each fall, we invite families to gather by grade level for our Ages and Stages sessions, an opportunity to explore the developmental themes we see at each age and to strengthen our partnership in supporting students together.

Please join us for coffee and conversation in the Community Room with your child’s teacher(s), Lower School Counselors Leah Brown and Sammy Robertson, Learning Support Specialist Shannon Salvadera, and me. Together, we’ll share insights drawn from research (including Chip Wood’s Yardsticks) and our collective experience guiding children through the joys and challenges of growing up. Our next session is tomorrow, Friday, October 3 for Third and Fourth Grade parents and guardians!

We’d love to hear what’s on your mind. Please take a moment to complete this Google Form with any questions you’ve been curious about as you watch your child navigate at this stage in their development. Whether navigating social situations, supporting emotional growth, celebrating milestones, or sharing strategies that work for your family. Your input helps shape meaningful conversations that reflect the needs and experiences of our community.
