The Bush Families Association invites you to take part in one of our school’s most meaningful traditions — the

Faculty and Staff Appreciation Luncheon, taking place on Thursday, November 6, in the Community Room.

This annual event, hosted and organized by Bush families, is a long-standing tradition that brings our community together to show appreciation for the incredible teachers and staff who make Bush such a special place. Each year, families contribute food and volunteer time to create a memorable and heartfelt celebration.

This year’s theme, “You’re Not in Kansas Anymore: A Celebration of Hearts, Brains, and Courage,” will feature a Kansas City BBQ–inspired menu and whimsical Emerald City decor. But... we still need your help to make the event a success!
  • Contribute food: Sign up to prepare a side dish or dessert. Recipes and simple ideas are provided. Or you can sign up to bring in pantry items. Update 10/30: Our greatest need is for families to sign up to make the easy side dish recipes. Please consider!
  • Volunteer your time: Join us to help with setup, serving, or cleanup on the day of the event. Update 10/30: We still need volunteers to help out the morning of the event -- both food collection and event setup. Sign up below!

Your participation—whether by contributing food, volunteering in person, or helping spread the word—makes this celebration possible. Thank you for helping us honor the dedicated faculty and staff who bring their hearts, brains, and courage to Bush every day.

Any questions or off-list donations can be directed to event chairs Alicia Alberg or Gretchen Boehm.

Let’s make this a lunch to remember—because there’s truly No Place Like Bush!
