Bush's Nika R. ’33 Competes at National Junior Olympic XC Championships

On Saturday, December 10, Bush Lower School student Nika R. ’33 competed in the National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships held in College Station, Texas. Nika, who runs for the Bush Blazers and Rain City,  placed 109th out of 195 runners from across the country with a time of 9 minutes and 20 seconds. 

Nika qualified for the national race by finishing an impressive tenth place in the Northwest Regional Meet (Washington, Oregon, and Northern Idaho) 2,000-meter race with a time of 9 :17.
