Purchased novels for Eighth Grade Spanish. Students worked in groups and chose a book that interested them, and then would read together from that book and fill out an info sheet to tell me about what they were reading. This allowed students to have more choice in class, gave them some independence, and allowed for increased differentiation for students at higher and lower proficiency levels.
