2025-2026 Lower School Friday Dismissal Change
On Monday, April 28, an important update about the 2025-2026 school year was shared with Lower School families that reflects the commitment to providing a dynamic and consistent learning environment for students.
Beginning next fall, Lower School dismissal on Fridays will shift to 3:15 p.m., aligning with the regular dismissal time Monday through Thursday.
In extending the Lower School Friday schedule this will create new opportunities for deeper engagement through interdisciplinary projects, meaningful peer collaboration, and expanded experiential learning. This shift also allows time for better curricular alignment across divisions, creating a smoother transition for students across grades.
Each time a change is made to a program or schedule, it’s grounded in The Bush School’s mission to ignite a passion for learning. This schedule change will provide each child the time and space to explore, grow, and connect. As always, we’re here to support your family. Our Extended Day Program and Blazer Bus services will continue to be available, helping make this transition as smooth and convenient as possible.
