Lower School Service Club Events - Wednesday, March 25 and Friday, April 10

Two exciting Lower School Service Club events are coming up soon!

Wednesday, March 25 | 3:20–4:35 p.m. | Kindergarten–Fifth Grade
Level the Field Sports

Join us for our next Lower School Service Club on Wednesday, March 25! We are partnering with Level the Field Sports, founded by Justin R. ‘28 and Jacob R. ‘30. Level the Field Sports is a nonprofit that helps underserved youth gain access to sports by providing gear and equipment, as well as covering team dues when families are unable to afford them.

Participants will hear about the organization, make posters focusing on the sports gear drive, and prepare bags for the sports gear distribution. Open to all K–5 students and Middle School helpers.

Friday, April 10 | 3:20–4:35 p.m. | Kindergarten–Fifth Grade
Craft Kits for Kindness

Join us for our next Lower School Service Club on Friday, April 10! We are working with Babies of Homelessness to create kits for the families that they are serving. Babies of Homelessness was founded in 2016 by Star Lalario, whose own experience living in a shelter during her childhood deeply shaped her path. She created the organization after seeing the unmet needs of young children experiencing homelessness outside the shelter system.

If you enjoy helping others and working on hands-on projects, we’d love to have you join us!  Students will be putting together craft kits to help bring creativity and joy to young children and their families. All K–5 students and Middle School Helpers are invited to participate, but we are limited on space, so sign up soon.
