We’re excited to be approaching one of our most cherished Lower School traditions - Grandparents and Special Friends Day on Friday, May 8.
We are delighted to welcome your child’s grandparents and special friends to campus for a morning filled with connection, curiosity, and community. The day begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Mag Gym with a breakfast meet-and-greet with Head of School Sarah Smith and Lower School Director Aliya Virani.
Guests will then join students for a meaningful half-day experience that reflects what makes Bush so special: learning by doing, building relationships, and sharing in the everyday moments that help our students grow.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
Check-in begins: 8:30 a.m.

ABOUT THE DAY
This event is designed to honor the important people in your child’s life. A special friend may be a grandparent, aunt, uncle, babysitter, coach, or close friend in the family. In the spirit of cultivating community, our goal is for every student to share this experience with a trusted adult. If a guest is unable to attend, we will ensure your child is paired with a member of our community for classroom activities.
This beloved event brings many guests to campus, and to help us create the best possible experience for students and visitors, we kindly ask that parents and guardians not attend.
