Registration Open for Middle School After-School Clubs
Dear Bush Middle School Families,
We are excited to share that students will soon have the opportunity to take part in after-school clubs that spark curiosity, creativity, and teamwork! This year, we are offering six great options: Science Olympiad, Robotics, Digital Design, Math, Choir, and Bush Honks!
This week during Middle School Town Hall, the faculty advisors for each club presented to the students. There was a lot of excitement and positive energy from the students as they learned about all the clubs and observed a display of shooting rockets by Middle School CED Faculty Adam McDonald, who will be leading Robotics and Digital Design. Please note that we are offering Science Olympiad on Tuesday and Thursday. This allows students to take part in a STEM and performing arts club if they choose. We ask that students attend regularly any after-school club that they sign up for as some clubs have a competition or performance aspect and will require students to practice and prepare for competition against peers from differing schools or a performance. The sign-up window for after-school clubs begins today through Monday, October 5.
It is our goal that students who join after-school clubs develop stronger interpersonal skills and connections and feel a greater sense of belonging within the school community.
If you have questions about a specific club, feel free to reach out directly to the faculty advisor of the club.
