Blazers Bring Home Another Win

On a rainy Tuesday afternoon, the Bush Blazers took on the Bear Creek Grizzlies. Prior to this matchup, the Grizzlies were at the top of the division. The wet weather did not deter the Blazers from connecting passes and putting the ball in the back of the net four times!

In the first half, Lyla B. used her superb footskills to weave past the defense and score the first goal of the game, bringing the game to 1-0 at the end of the first half. With the heavy downpours, the Blazers let two Grizzlies get away to change the lead in Bear Creek's favor 1-2. The Blazers were determined to come back and win the game, and Abigail C. made the game tied up at 2-2. The sole senior on the team, Margaret W. put the Blazers back on top with her goal that slipped past the paws of the Grizzlies. The last goal of the game was scored by captain Mia A., making the final score 4-2.

The Blazers are 2-0 in league play.
