Save the Date! Simply Cultural x Blazer Bash - Friday, April 19

Save the date! This year, the Athletic department and the Office of Community, Equity, and Inclusion are partnering to bring Simply Cultural x Blazer Bash to the school community on Friday, April 19. Join us for Blazer Bash x Simply Cultural - a festival of arts, activities, and ideas from the diverse cultural backgrounds that make up the Bush community, an opportunity for us to collectively take pride in our identities and our diverse community.

Join us for a day-long event that celebrates the cultural backgrounds that make up our diverse Bush community with a varsity boys soccer game from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m. at Washington Park and a school-wide potluck dinner from 5:30-8:00 p.m. in Mag Gym. Students and families are invited to wear their favorite soccer jersey or outfit that holds significance for your culture and join the celebration by cheering on the Blazers and, sharing food, cultural customs, art, and performance at our community dinner.

Community members (K-12 families) have the opportunity to contribute to this special celebration:
· Sign up here to provide treats or help run the Blazer Bash spirit tents;
· Sign up here to contribute food from your cultural background for the community dinner;
· Sign up here to share your creativity and/or cultural background during the community dinner.

Please reach out to JūLondré Brown, Director of Community, Equity, and Inclusion, via email at julondre.brown@bush.edu with any questions.
