Bush Board of Trustees: Meet 2023-2024 New Trustee, Zane Behnke '00

This school year  we are highlighting the newest members of the Board of Trustees. We have asked our new Trustees a series of questions to help the community get to know them a bit better. This month is Zane Behnke ’00.

What are some of your goals/vision as a member of the board?
To actualize the school's efforts to be anti-racist and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

What are you most passionate about at Bush?
Bush is able to bring people together in a way that pushes them to become better versions of themselves.

How would your kids describe you?
Someone who is very social and is the life of the party and never likes to spend time alone.

Current favorite show/series on Netflix/Hulu/Prime?
Reservation Dogs on Hulu and Foundation on Apple TV.

Favorite spot on the Bush campus and why?
The big tree as it reminds us of our connection to nature.

Favorite spot in Washington (can be restaurant, park, etc.) and why?
I like Musang and Jerk Shack for food and Alpental for skiing and hiking.

What is something people may not know about you?
I was born in Hawaii and lived there until I was three years old.
